One person was hospitalized after a three-car accident in Aurelius Thursday morning.

Capt. Kevin Foster of the Aurelius Volunteer Fire Department said one driver was attempting to turn left around the area of 1492 Clark St. Road when their vehicle was hit by another, sending both vehicles into traffic. One of the vehicles then struck a third, Foster said. One person was sent to Auburn Community Hospital with minor injuries, Foster said.

The call for the incident came in around 6:43 a.m. Foster said traffic was blocked from around Fingerlakes Mall to the intersection of Clark Street Road and Half Acre Road for about an hour.
