Salem, AL: Car wreck claims the life of Anderson teen on Saturday, July 18th 2015
A single-car wreck claimed the life of an 18-year-old Saturday.State Trooper Curtis Summerville said that 18-year-old Trevor Ivon Starbuck was killed when the truck he was traveling in left the roadway and hit a tree.Trooper Summerville said that at 5:20 p.m., a 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck left the roadway on Alabama 99, just four miles north of Salem, and struck a tree.Troopers said that Starbuck was not wearing a seatbelt at the time. He was pronounced dead at the scene.The driver of the pickup, 66-year-old Jerry H. Tomlin, was not injured.State Troopers are continuing to investigate.
