Two Bakersfield teenagers died after a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 5 Sunday evening, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Sidney Chang, 15, and Amal Shurbaji, 18, were both passengers in a Jeep driven by a 17-year-old girl on northbound I-5, the Kern County Coroner's Office said Monday afternoon.

The Jeep was in the No. 1 traffic lane south of Grapevine Road at about 5:25 p.m. when another vehicle changed lanes directly in front of it, the CHP said.
