Lowell, MA : Haverhill man dies in motorcycle crash on I-495 in Lowell on Thursday, June 25, 2015

State police say a Haverhill man has died after the motorcycle he was operating rear-ended a tractor-trailer on Interstate 495 in Lowell.

Police say 24-year-old Dana Fields was headed north at about 11:40 p.m. Thursday when he struck the back of the truck. He was thrown from his Harley Davidson and pronounced dead at the scene.

The death remains under investigation.
