Flooding on the southbound side of Interstate 91, just before the Connecticut River Bridge, contributed to at least three vehicle crashes Thursday morning, state police report.
"The flooding is being taken care of as we speak," said Lt. Thomas Ryan, spokesman for state police, speaking about 8:45 a.m.
Flooding occurred in the right and center lanes as heavy rain fell during the morning commute.
No injuries were reported in the crashes, Ryan said.
