Hogeye, AR : Two Washington County residents killed in car accident on Arkansas 265 near Hogeye on Saturday night, July 2, 2016

Two Washington County residents were killed Saturday night in a single-vehicle accident on Arkansas 265 near Hogeye, according to Arkansas State Police.

Aaron Jacob Kildrow, 21, of Fayetteville and Kylee Marie Marris, 20, of Springdale both died after the Chevrolet Sonic Kildrow was driving left the roadway and hit a tree, according to a state police preliminary fatal crash summary.

The report said the road was dry and weather conditions were clear.

Hogeye is a hamlet about five miles west of West Fork.

Saturday's accident marked the 262 and 263 fatalities of 2016, the report said. In 2015, state police recorded 512 fatal crashes on Arkansas highways.
