Newton , MA : Superior court judge’s Loss his son im Motorcycle crash after crashed motorcycle to some wood in Newton on Friday , December 12th 2014
NEWTON — A prominent superior court judge is mourning the loss of his son after a motorcycle crash in Newton.
Investigators said Tim Kincaid, 27, of Conover died after crashing his motorcycle in some woods at the intersection of Saint James Church Road and East P Street Extension Friday night.
“The happiest day of my life was the day my son was born,” said Judge Tim Kincaid, who retired just days ago as a senior resident superior court judge in Catawba County. “The hardest day of my life was yesterday (Friday). There are no words to express the emptiness of I feel.”
Newton police said an officer was trying to catch up to Kincaid after he sped past him on his motorcycle and then ran a red light on Highway 16 south near Mt. Olive Church Road. The officer found Kincaid two miles down the road. Police said he had lost control at the three-way intersection and crashed his bike into some woods. Kincaid was pronounced dead at the scene.
“It’s possible that he (Kincaid) didn’t even know an officer was trying to catch up to him,” said Chief Donald Brown, with the Newton Police Department.
“He may have made some mistakes on the bike but I know he lived his life for God and other people,” said Kincaid.
