DURHAM, NC : Driver dies in crash on Durham Freeway on Thursday, 3rd January 2019

An Alamance County man died Thursday morning in a crash on the Durham Freeway.

Jeremy Holsclaw, 34, of Haw River, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox northbound around 9:30 a.m. Thursday when the SUV went off the road and crashed into the back of an unoccupied flatbed truck, Durham police said in a news release.

The truck was parked out of the freeway’s travel lanes, police said.
