Madisonville, KY : Anthony Allison was injured after he was hit by a car at Intersection of Madison Avenue on Friday, 2nd September, 2016

A man remains in the hospital after he was hit by a car on Friday.

Anthony Allison, 56-years-old, of Madisonville, Kentucky, was walking west on Madison Avenue around 9:30 p.m. When Allison approached the intersection of Madison Avenue and West Lake Street, he stepped into the

roadway, according to the police report.

The police report says a 1996 Honda Accord, being driven by Chase Western, 26-years-old, of Madisonville, Kentucky, was heading south, down Madison Avenue.

Western's vehicle collided with Allison in the intersection of Madison Avenue and West Lake Street. Western stated he did not Allison leave the sidewalk to enter the roadway and did not have time to react.

Allison was taken to Baptist Health in Madisonville before being flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Allison's condition is listed as unstable.
