Verbena man killed in collision with deer in Chilton County

A Verbana man was killed in a collision with a deer early today in a crash in Chilton County.Alabama State Troopers said Richard Alan Coburn, 53, was on a Yamaha motorcycle traveling on County Road 49 about about nine miles south of Clanton when the deer ran into the roadway.The crash happened about 2:30 a.m.Troopers said Coburn was wearing a helmet. No other information was immediately available.
