MANCHESTER, CT : 8 students hurt in crash that involved school bus in Manchester on Wednesday, 20th November 2024

Eight students were hurt in a crash that involved a school bus on Interstate 84 west in Manchester on Wednesday morning.

The bus was from the Maple Street School in Vernon, according to Vernon superintendent Dr. Joseph Macary.

“It was a 4th grade field trip to Hartford,” Macary told Channel 3. “Eight students were transported to the hospital in Hartford for minor injuries.”

The state Department of Transportation said it happened between exits exits 63 and 60.
