Helena, MT : Hutterite man dies in utility vehicle crash near Augusta Saturday, December 31, 2016

A Hutterite man died in a utility terrain vehicle crash Saturday at the Elk Creek Colony near Augusta, authorities reported.

The man was driving across a field on private property when he lost control of the vehicle, Sgt. Eric Gilbertson of the Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office said. The man was partially ejected, and the vehicle rolled over on top of him.

Emergency responders were called around 4:15 p.m., he said. The man was pronounced dead before an air ambulance arrived.

An obituary on the website for Croxford Funeral Home and Crematory in Great Falls identified the man as 43-year-old Theodore Paul Kleinsasser. His funeral is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Elk Creek Colony.
