Melville, NY : DWI charge for BMW driver after Blue Point crash on Sunday, March 12th 2017

A Patchogue man was arrested and charged with DWI after his BMW was involved in a motor vehicle accident Sunday night in Blue Point, police said.

Brandon Elsbree, 51, was charged with driving while intoxicated and is scheduled for arraignment Monday in First District Court in Central Islip, Suffolk County police said.

Police said Elsbree was driving a white 2011 BMW when he was involved in the crash at Atlantic Avenue and Hill Street at about 8 p.m. Photos from the scene show the BMW with significant damage to the front driver’s side of the vehicle. Additional details were not available.
