Orange County, FL : 1 person killed in east Orange County crash on Tuesday, 2nd July 2019

An unidentified Orlando woman was killed after a van crashed into her SUV, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The 55-year-old woman initially stopped at a red light on Murdock Boulevard at East Colonial Drive about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, before driving into the intersection — where a van driven by Felix Rodriguez crashed into the left side of her vehicle, FHP said.
The woman, who authorities haven’t named while they notify the next of kin, was taken to Advent Health Orlando, where she died. Rodriguez, 56, only suffered minor injuries, FHP said.
Authorities are unsure why the woman drove into traffic and are investigating the crash. Alcohol was discarded as a factor and both drivers were wearing seatbealts at the time of the crash, according to the FHP report.
