ATHENS, GA : Georgia photographer injured during sideline collision is recovering on Monday, 18th November, 2019

University of Georgia sports information director Claude Felton on Monday, Nov. 18, provided an update on the status of Chamberlain Smith, the photographer who was injured in a collision with Georgia’s Brian Herrien during a football game Saturday at Auburn University.

Smith, who works as an intern under Felton in the sports information department, is resting at home with her parents in Ringgold, where she will be recovering for several days.

Felton added that Smith was anxious to get back to work.

Georgia coach Kirby Smart also made remarks on Smith in his opening comments Monday.
