SEDGWICK COUNTY, KS : 1 dead, 1 seriously hurt in north Wichita crash near 53rd street north and Gow on Saturday, 20th July 2019

One person died and another seriously hurt after a crash Saturday afternoon in north Wichita.

The crash happened around 12:15 p.m. near 53rd street north and Gow.

The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office says a vehicle heading westbound crossed the center line, hitting an eastbound vehicle head on.

Deputies say one person died on the scene and another was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
