Charlottesville,VI: Police ID motorcyclist killed in wreck on August, Saturday 5th 2017

Albemarle County police have released the identity of the victim in Saturday’s fatal, multi-vehicle wreck.
Jordan Macale Cassell, 22, of Charlottesville, died at the scene.

The preliminary investigation by county police indicates Cassell was traveling west on Garth Road on a 2003 Honda motorcycle when he struck a 2013 Honda Fit. The driver of that vehicle, an 87-year-old Albemarle resident, was attempting to turn left onto Garth Road from Free Union Road.
The motorcycle continued and hit a third vehicle that was trying to turn right on Garth Road from Free Union Road, according to a news release.
