Ormando Beach ,FL : 46-year-old driver of a Volkswagen killed after he lost control and struck tree on Saturday night ,April 18 2015

Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a fatal crash in Ormond Beach.
Troopers said a 46-year-old driver of a Volkswagen was heading westbound on State Road 40 when he lost control, went over the median and struck a tree late Saturday night.
The car then turned onto its roof in the eastbound lanes. The man was not wearing a seatbelt, according to reports.
Another driver, Tina Meyer, 41, was in the eastbound lanes and couldn’t stop in time to avoid hitting the Volkswagen, troopers said.
Meyer struck the left side of the car, but is OK.
Troopers have not identified the man who died.
The crash remains under investigation.
