Troup County, GA : Newnan man dies in single vehicle crash in LaGrange on Monday morning, August 8, 2016

A 23-year-old Newnan, Ga. man died Monday morning when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree in LaGrange, Ga.

Troup County deputy coroner Erin Hackley said Jared Gregg was pronounced dead at 7:43 a.m..The cause of death was given as force blunt trauma.

Hackley said the victim in the crash on Hammett Road was not wearing a seat belt.
