Vancouver, WA : Driver crashes car into Vancouver Jack In The Box restaurant on Tuesday afternoon, December 1, 2015

A driver crashed into a Vancouver Jack In The Box restaurant at 7200 Northeast 117 Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

Washington State Police troopers arrived at the scene and found a Subaru Outback inside the restaurant. They say the driver is a 65-year-old woman from Yacolt, Washington.

Police say the woman suddenly swerved her car, traveled over a sidewalk and through the restaurant's landscaping before entering through the north side of the building.

The damaged portion of the building is a storage area and no customers or employees inside the restaurant were injured.

The driver was transported to Southwest Washington PeaceHealth for minor injuries.

Police say it's unclear at this time what events occurred to cause the incident. Troopers performed field sobriety tests on the driver and found no signs of impairment.
