NEWPORT, RI : One injured in crash near Newport rotary on Monday, 3rd September 2018

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a three-car crash near the roundabout at Connell Highway on Monday around 2:45 p.m., according to Newport fire Capt. Jared Minick.

The crash, which resulted in minor damage to the vehicles involved, occurred near the overpass on Admiral Kalbfus Road, Minick told The Daily News around 4:30 p.m. He deferred questions about the total number of occupants, the cause of the crash and any pending charges to Newport police.
