Milwaukee ,WI : Ice Cream Vendor Struck killed in Crash after hit by vehicle driver on Thursday ,May 7th 2015

A man selling ice cream on the street was hit and killed in a crash on Milwaukee’s south side.

It shut down the area near 16th and Mitchell streets for hours.

Rafael Pizarro can't get the fatal crash out of his mind. He saw it all unravel.

"When he hit the guy, the guy flipped two times to, like, to like (the) sidewalk there,” Pizarro said.

Police said the 27-year-old driver of a white 1999 Toyota Camry hit a 48-year-old ice cream vendor on a bike after colliding with the 61-year-old driver of a gray Toyota RAV4 who was trying to make a turn.

The vendor died at the hospital.

Vendors in the area like Michael Steppes didn't know the man who died but are on alert.
