Memphis, TN : Man hit by car at Jonesboro intersection on Saturday October 8 2016

A woman was arrested Saturday for a suspended license after hitting a man who was crossing the street in Jonesboro.

According to Sgt. Lane Holmes with the Jonesboro Police Department, the 28-year-old man was crossing the road at the intersection of Red Wolf Boulevard and Race Street when he was hit by a pickup truck.

Holmes said the man’s ankle was injured and he has several bruises and scrapes.

The woman, who has not been identified, was taken to the Craighead County Detention Center for driving on a suspended license.
