Edgerton, WI : Several people injured after a multi-vehicle crash on Hwy 51/North Main and Cherry streets on Sunday, March 13, 2016

A multi-vehicle crash on Sunday sent several people to the hospital, according to Edgerton police.

Police and fire officials, along with help from surrounding areas, responded to the scene on Hwy 51/North Main and Cherry streets just before 10:30 a.m.

On arrival, officers found four vehicles involved. Main Street was blocked for several hours as the investigation and clean up took place.

EMS units took the injured to area hospitals. The number of people injured and their names have not been released.

Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting Edgerton police with reconstruction of the accident.
