Casitas Springs, CA : Three people injured in head-on crash near the Ojai Valley on Wednesday night, Nov 4, 2015

Three people were injured in a head-on collision Wednesday night in the Casitas Springs area, officials said.

The California Highway Patrol reported the crash about 10:35 p.m. near Santa Ana Road and Nye Ranch Road near the Ojai Valley.

A pickup crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a car head-on, the patrol reported.

Crews with the Ventura County Fire Department responded to the scene and reported three people were injured. CHP officials listed the incident as a minor injury crash.

Santa Ana Road was shut down in both directions, the patrol reported.
