CANADIAN COUNTY, OK : Investigation underway after fatal motorcycle collision in Oklahoma on Sunday, 17th November 2024

Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a fatal motorcycle accident early Sunday morning on the John Kilpatrick Turnpike.

According to OHP, James Scott Rowlett, age 27, was driving a 2024 Yamaha motorcycle on the John Kilpatrick Turnpike near Britton Road when the collision occurred.

The other vehicle involved was a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado was driven by an unknown male.

Rowlett was pronounced deceased by medical responders due to injuries he sustained.

The cause of the collision is under investigation along with the Chevrolet Silverado and the truck's driver.
