Topeka, KS : Woman injured in two-vehicle crash in midtown Topeka on Thursday morning, March 9, 2017

One person sustained what police said were minor injuries Thursday morning when a car and pickup truck collided in an intersection.

The crash was reported about 8:45 a.m. at S.W. 10th and Mulvane.

Police at the scene said a blue four-door Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera was northbound on S.W. Mulvane when it collided with a white Dodge Ram pickup truck that was southbound on Mulvane and trying to make a left turn onto eastbound 10th Street.

The female driver of the Oldsmobile was taken by American Medical Response ambulance to a local hospital with injuries that weren’t believed to be serious.

The female driver of the truck wasn’t injured.

After the collision, the intersection was closed for about a half-hour as police investigated.

A wrecker towed the Oldsmobile from the scene. The pickup truck was able to be driven away.
