Yazoo City, MS : 69-year-old man died in ATV crash in Yazoo County on Monday afternoon, January 18, 2016

Yazoo County officials say a 69-year-old man died when the ATV he was driving flipped over.

Coroner Ricky Shivers says first responders were dispatched to a home just outside the Yazoo City limits just before noon Monday.

Shivers says Lavon Edwards was found unresponsive in his yard.

He says evidence at the scene suggest that Edwards lost control resulting in the 4-wheeler flipping on the pavement.

Edwards was pronounced dead at the scene.
