Wallingford,CT : Two taken to hospital after crash on Route 5 in Wallingford on August, Tuesday 29th 2017
Two people received minor injuries in a crash Tuesday night on Route 5.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 8:20 p.m. for a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of South Colony Road (Route 5) and the Wharton Brook Connector, on the Interstate 91 onramp side.
A black Honda sedan and a red Nissan pickup truck were observed in the intersection. The sedan had its airbags deployed.

Traffic was down to one lane in both directions. The scene cleared around 9:10 p.m.
Wallingford Fire Battalion Chief Edward Butkus said the two injured people were transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
