Winona, MN : One person injured in Caledonia accident on Tuesday, November, 28th 2017

One person was injured when a pick-up truck rear-ended a car Tuesday morning on Hwy. 44.

James Francis Liddiard, 63, of Waukon, Iowa, was traveling west on Hwy. 44 south of Caledonia, Minn. just after 11 a.m. Tuesday afternoon, when he slowed to turn south on Hwy. 76. Adam Eugene Kraus, 44, of Decorah, Iowa was also traveling west on Hwy. 44, when he failed to stop in time and rear-ended Liddiard's vehicle.

Liddiard was taken to Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wis. with non-life threatening injuries.

The Houston County Sheriff's Office and the Caledonia Police Department assisted on the scene of the accident.
