Austin,TX : Sheriff's ID man killed in West El Paso hit-and-run wreck on January, Tuesday 2nd 2018

The name of the pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run wreck Monday morning in West El Paso was released by sheriff’s officials Tuesday.

Eduardo Vasquez, 37, was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 10 West at around 9:30 a.m. near the Vinton exit, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office officials said. The vehicle then fled the scene.

Vasquez died at the scene of the wreck.

The Sheriff’s Office Special Traffic Investigators and Crimes Scene Investigators are still searching for the vehicle involved in the wreck.
