Seguin, TX : 1 injured in 4-vehicle collision on Wednesday, 14th March 2018
Eastbound traffic was temporarily diverted on Kingsbury Street following a four-car collision that included one vehicle rolling over and landing on top of two others.
One person was injured and another had to be freed from their vehicle after the wreck that was reported about 4:45 p.m. in the 1400 block of Kingsbury Street at the State Highway 123 Bypass intersection.
Police say a Ford Escape was traveling west on Kingsbury Street when it collided with a Cadillac Escalade that was traveling south on State Highway 123 Bypass.
It appeared that the impact forced both vehicles to spin.
While the Escalade stopped facing north on the concrete median blocking westbound traffic, the Escape rolled over and landed on two vehicles stopped at the light, officers said.
The driver of the Escape was trapped in his vehicle and was freed by the Seguin Fire Department. The man was treated by paramedics at the scene and released.
The driver of the Escalade was taken to Guadalupe Regional Medical Center for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
The wreck remains under investigation.
