Sacramento, CA : An 88-year-old woman killed in a crash last week on Monday, September 18th 2017

Officials have released the name of an 88-year-old woman killed in a crash last week on Highway 101 in Thousand Oaks.

Waleed Kilany, an investigator with the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office, identified the woman on Tuesday as Marilee Quinn, of Westlake Village. She died of multiple blunt-force injuries due to a head-on collision, Kilany said.

The crash was reported about 3:20 p.m. Sept. 14 on southbound Highway 101 near the Westlake Boulevard off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. Just before the collision, patrol officials said they received reports of a wrong-way driver headed north in southbound lanes.
