Savannah, GA : Savannah pedestrian injured in early morning crash on Thursday, November, 30th 2017

Savannah-Chatham police’s Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating a Thursday morning crash that seriously injured a 58-year-old pedestrian.

Officers responded to Abercorn Street near Posey Drive about 10:10 a.m. and discovered Dwayne Owens suffering from injuries, said Bianca Johnson, department spokesperson.

According to a preliminary investigation, Owens was crossing the southbound lanes of Abercorn Street when he was struck by a Honda Accord.
