WENDELL, NC : Woman dead in car crash near Wendell NC on Saturday, 5th August 2023

A woman died in a crash late Saturday morning in the Wake County community of Shotwell near Wendell, officials said.

First responders were called around 11 a.m. in the 9800 block of Poole Road near the intersection with Major Slade Road, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
