Cresco, PA : Man, woman killed in motorcycle crash in Poconos on Sunday, February 19, 2017

Authorities say two people were killed in the crash of a motorcycle in the Poconos over the weekend.

State police in Monroe County said the motorcycle went off the road in Paradise Township and hit a tree at about 5 p.m. Sunday near Mount Pocono.

Police identified the victims as 39-year-old Christopher Shanaberger of Mount Pocono and 33-year-old Angela Mistkowski of Cresco.

The county coroner’s office said it was unclear whether either was wearing a helmet. Autopsies are planned and state police are investigating.
