Allentown, PA : Allentown woman dies in four-car crash near Airport Road on Friday, 18th August, 2016
2-year-old Allentown woman was killed and 11 others, including several children, were injured in a four-vehicle crash on Route 22 near Airport Road in Hanover Township, Lehigh County, late Friday night, state police said.
Renee Tenasse was pronounced dead at the scene of the 11:35 p.m. crash by the Lehigh County coroner's office, state police said.
Tenasse was a passenger in a Ford F-150 pickup driven by Sheldon Krock, 52, of Easton, state police. Also in the vehicle were two other adult passengers and three boys ages 7, 4, and 2, all of Allentown.
Two people were treated at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest for moderate injuries, police said. And the other nine people were treated for minor injuries at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.
According to state police:
Tenasse was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Sheldon Krock, 52, of Easton. Krock was traveling westbound in the right lane near the Airport Road exit when he lost control of his vehicle, traveled into the left lane and hit a car driven by Traci Fritz, 51, of Tamaqua.Krock's vehicle then rolled several times and hit a car driven by Corinne Salter, 32, of Allentown, who was in the left lane.
Salter's car was pushed into a fourth car driven by a 17-year-old from Catasauqua, whose name was not released.

Krock and one of his passengers were treated for moderate injuries at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
The crash closed the highway's westbound lanes for several hours overnight as police investigated.
