LAS VEGAS, NV : Woman hit killed in east valley after crossing road on Wednesday, 21st February 2024

An 82-year-old woman died after being hit by a truck in the east Las Vegas valley on Wednesday.

It happened shortly after 7 p.m. near Tropicana Avenue and Calle Del Mar, east of the Boulder Highway, Las Vegas Metropolitan police said.

The woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was crossing the road outside a designated crosswalk when she was hit, police said.
