Austin, TX : 8-year-old girl died in a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday, June 6, 2017

An 8-year-old girl died in a two-vehicle collision late Tuesday at the overpass by Bob Bullock Loop and Interstate 35, according to Laredo police.
Police said Belinda Muniz, a student at United Independent School District's Barbara Fasken Elementary School, was thrown from the vehicle. She was riding with her grandmother at the time of the crash, police said.Police arrested Karla Karina Ortega Camacho, 27, in connection with the case and charged her with manslaughter.
LPD said Ortega was driving on the wrong way of the overpass when her vehicle collided head-on with a black 2001 Chevy 1500 pickup at about 9 p.m.
