RICHMOND, VA : 1 person dead after crash involving motorcycle on Arthur Ashe Boulevard on Thursday, 17th August 2023

A firefighter is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle and car in Richmond Thursday morning.

Just before 9 a.m., Richmond Police received a call about a crash resulting in personal injury on North Arthur Ashe Boulevard and Norfolk Street.

Just after 1:00 p.m., police reopened North Arthur Ashe Boulevard after a portion of the street was closed for several hours.
