Tampa,FL: Bicyclist killed in Tampa crash on October, Monday 2nd 2017

An unidentified bicyclist died Monday morning after he was struck and ejected into the roadway, authorities said.

About 3 a.m. on Hillsborough Avenue east of 50th street, the cyclist was in the outside lane in the direct path of Tiarra S. Williams, who was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The cyclist was fatally struck by two other vehicles and died at the scene, FHP said.

The second vehicle that struck the cyclist fled the scene, and was described as a green or gray passenger car, FHP said.
