Halifax, PA : Coroner rules death of woman in SUV hit by train accidental on Monday, 5 September 2016

A coroner has ruled accidental the death of a woman whose sport utility vehicle collided with a freight train at a railroad crossing in central Pennsylvania.
State police in Dauphin County said 29-year-old Trisha Hoffman pulled the SUV directly into the path of the train Monday afternoon along state Route 147 in Halifax Township.
Police said she was killed immediately. Coroner Graham Hetrick ruled the death accidental.
PennLive.com says Hoffman was entering the road from a boat launch access road that crosses tracks that are marked with signs but without crossing arms to block vehicles.
