EUSTIS, FL : A 41-year-old Umatilla woman was killed on Sunday, December, 24th 2017

A 41-year-old Umatilla woman was killed Sunday morning when her vehicle left the road and rolled several times, authorities say.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman was traveling south on County Road 452 near Lake Landing Boulevard when her Jeep went off the road. Troopers say she overcorrected, causing the Jeep to cross CR 452 and flip several times. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected.

The woman was taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital where she died. Troopers have not released her name.

The crash remains under investigation.
