PROVIDENCE, RI : Man killed in apartment shooting, suspect remains at-large on Monday, November 21st 2016

Police say they're investigating a shooting inside an apartment in Providence that left a man dead.

Maj. David Lapatin says the shooting happened at a tenement-style home early Monday. Police say the 28-year-old man was later declared dead.

His identity is being withheld until his family can be notified.

Officials say the shooter probably knew the man and that several people were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting.

No arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing.
