BUTLER TWP, PA : One driver hospitalized in Butler Township crash on Monday, 15th February 2021

One person was injured just after 4 p.m. in a head-on collision on North Eberhart Road, authorities said.

A woman, believed to be in her 50s or 60s was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital. Her injuries were not considered serious, according to Butler Township police.

The woman was driving a Toyota Camry. The second vehicle, a Honda CR-V was driven by a man believed to be in his 30s, and he was not injured.

Police are investigating, but an accident report was not immediately available.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene, which was cleared with Butler County 911 dispatchers around 4:47 p.m.

The crash briefly closed the road between Moraine Pointe Plaza and Route 68.

The Butler Township Volunteer Fire District and Butler Ambulance assisted at the scene.
