WESTERNPORT, MD : Charges pending in Westernport crash on Sunday, 26th January, 2020

A Westernport man suffered minor injuries Sunday night after his vehicle collided with another vehicle then struck a building in the Main Street area, according to the Allegany County Sheriff's Office.

David Rickey Cameron, 60, was taken to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center following the 8:50 p.m. crash.

Police said Cameron was operating a 1996 Subaru when he crossed the center line and struck a 2019 Nissan truck operated by Catherine Mock of Westernport. Mock was not injured.

The Cameron vehicle then reportedly struck and damaged a building.

Police said charges are pending against Cameron as the investigation continues.
