ORLANDO, FL : Man dies after vehicle crashes into retention pond on Friday, 24th August 2018

A man is dead after his vehicle went into a retention pond Friday night, authorities said.

Florida Highway Patrol said a man was driving a gray vehicle on Isle of Wright Drive near Blackheath Circle when he crashed into a bus bench before going into water.

The man was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
