Texas City, TX : A woman killed in a car crash in League City on Sunday, November, 19th 2017

A woman killed in a car crash in League City on Sunday has been identified.

Carey Lindsey, 38, of Dickinson, died after her Infiniti sedan crashed into a ditch on the 6500 block of Calder Drive.

Lindsey's name was released by the Galveston County Medical Examiner's Office.

Lindsey was found in her car about 7:50 a.m. Sunday, after the crash was reported to police by a passerby.

It was not immediately clear when the crash happened. Police said they believe the crash was an accident and that no other vehicles were involved.
