CANYON LAKE, CA : One person was killed and three injured during a multicar crash on Thursday, November, 2nd 2017

One person was killed and three injured during a multicar crash Thursday evening, at Railroad Canyon Road and Canyon Lake Drive, Riverside County sheriff’s deputies said.

The westbound lanes on Railroad Canyon Road will be closed well into the night as the department’s accident specialists piece together what happened, said Sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Michael Vasquez.

The condition of those injured was not immediately known, Vasquez said.

The accident, which occurred about 6:30 p.m. Thursday, involved perhaps five or six cars, he said.
