Chicago’s South Side, IL : 3 children injured in Brighton Park crash in the 4800 block of South Western Avenue on Monday, 25th November, 2019

Three children were injured in a crash in the Brighton Park neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side on Monday night, police said.
At about 8 p.m., the driver of a northbound vehicle hit another vehicle heading south in the 4800 block of South Western Avenue, according to police.
The driver of the northbound vehicle, a 25-year-old woman, was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where her condition was stabilized. Three children in her car — a 6-year-old boy, a 1-year-old boy and a 1-year-old girl — were taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where their conditions were also stabilized.
The woman was ticketed for not having a valid driver’s license or valid insurance and for failing to properly restrain the younger children in her vehicle, police said.
The 54-year-old man driving the second vehicle was taken to Stroger Hospital, and his condition was stabilized.
